The Sterner Automation field service specialists are available 24/7 ready to install, commission, or troubleshoot systems in the field. We have a dedicated on-call system ensuring a primary and or an alternate contact. We like to keep a close working relationship with our customers through ongoing communication to ensure we meet our customers’ current and future operational requirements.

Services Offered:

Service Repairs and Calibrations

Sterner Automation products such as the Sterner Interface Box (*SIB) and the Sterner Portable Diagnostic Tester (*PDT) can be returned to our service department for repairs, preventative maintenance, and/or annual calibration. Return authorization (RA) forms* are available online.

Installation and Commissioning

Installation and commissioning is geared towards verifying the system design and checking that the equipment is properly installed and wired. Sterner Automation technicians will review the installation and set-up of the tooling and wiring of the supplied system and supervise the start-up process.

Ongoing Support

Sterner Automation provides ongoing support for all systems in the field. Sterner Automation’s technicians are available to visit your plant to assist in diagnosing and correcting problems with your Sterner Automation-supplied system. Field Service is appropriate for systems that have been in service, working satisfactorily for some time and now no longer operate properly. Our technicians are qualified to troubleshoot and repair Sterner Automation supplied systems. They are also able to answer general questions on troubleshooting and repairing individual components of the supplied system. Our service hotline (416-538-1826, extension 252) is available 24/7.
