Our Cultural Makes a Difference
At Sterner Automation we are what most strive to be: dynamic, fast paced and cutting edge. A job here is more than nine to five, it's one half play, one half high-tech engineering and totally rewarding.
Our facility is located in the west end of Toronto, conveniently between the Islington TTC station and the Kipling GO station. We are minutes away from great shopping and dining. Our open concept workspace is designed to accommodate our growing needs and to foster an energetic work environment.
Everyone is equipped with the latest computer technology so
that they can work anywhere. Sometimes you may find yourself
next to a custom piece of machinery making code modifications
for the latest vision application. Or you might be sitting
at your desk in the office designing custom electro-mechanical
assemblies using the latest in 3D CAD software. The work is
very rewarding and always challenging because of the multifaceted
types of projects that we work on. That's why we need people
that can be flexible in their abilities, schedules and ideas.
You will be encouraged to learn new technologies and to be
a leader in your field. We are looking for people that push
themselves, people who want to explore and discover their potential.
From the moment a project is approved you will be involved
in an interactive customer process. Our project teams work
to establish customer needs and then design solutions to meet
identified requirements. You will make the decisions on how
it should work and ensure the final product delivers. You and
your team have the flexibility to set the direction of a project
but you also have the experience and knowledge of the whole
company at your fingertips.
Your talents combined with the skills of our team will allow
you to succeed in this growing field. When you work in the
automation industry you are always challenged to find a better
solution. Customers need their systems to be reliable, efficient
and flexible. They want to stay one step ahead of their global
competition, which is why we continually strive to stay ahead
of ours. To be a leader in this field, you need imagination,
problem solving skills and a thirst for discovery.
So if you think that you can handle a challenge and aren't
afraid to push yourself, we want to hear from you!
